Christopher King’s Funeral Home was founded in 1998 by State Representative John Richard Christopher King in honor of his father, the late Mayor Chris C. King, who own and operated King’s Funeral Home in Chester County, South Carolina with his wife Margie Buckson King for over 40 years before his passing on September 1, 1997. So, in December of 1998, Representative John Richard Christopher King opened the doors to the community. He is proud to be a third generation funeral director and the only funeral home in Chester County that carries the name King, that is being managed by a descentant of the Late Mayor Chris King.

Our goal at Christopher King's Funeral Home in Chester, South Carolina is to utilize our 100 plus years of expertise in the funeral industry to assist grieving families as they honor the lives of their loved ones.
