Mr. Theodore Culp, affectionately know as “Pat” was born on May 22, 1950, in Chester, South Carolina, Pat was the cherished son of the late Maggie Bell Jackson Culp and the late Joe Harrison Culp, Sr. On February 22, 2024 surrounded by his family he peacefully passed and gained his heavenly wings.
Pat's early years were spent in the nurturing environment of Chester County, where he was a proud product of the local public schools. He was a man of the community, known for his outgoing nature and the warmth he extended to everyone he met. Pat had the rare ability to turn acquaintances into friends and friends into family.
A devoted fan of the San Francisco 49ers, Pat's enthusiasm for his team was infectious. He was often found engaging in friendly debates and sharing his passionate support with fellow fans. His love for the game was a reflection of his zest for life and the joy he found in the things he loved.
Professionally, Pat was a dedicated worker at the local laundromat, where his diligence and friendly banter became a staple of the establishment. He was a familiar face to many, always ready with a smile and a helping hand.
Sadly, Pat was preceded in death by his beloved parents and his siblings, Josephine Dunovant, Matricia Mayfield, Maggielean Jackson, John Willie Jackson, and James Culp. His departure marks the end of an era for the Culp family.
Left to honor Pat's memory are his brothers, Joe (Lavanda) Culp, Jr., Charles (Sheila) Culp, and Eddie (Harriet) Strong; his sister, Dorothy (John) Dunovant; his dedicated caregiver, James Young; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who were touched by his generous spirit.
Pat's legacy is one of love, laughter, and the countless lives he enriched. His family takes comfort in knowing that he is now at peace, and they are grateful for the time they had with him.
