Patricia Ann Thompson Williams entered into eternal rest on Friday, January 14, 2022 at Prisma Health Richland Hospital (Columbia, South Carolina). Born in Chester, South Carolina on November 30, 1954, “Ann”, as she was affectionately called, was the daughter of the late Charlie Milton Thompson and the late Roberta Crank Thompson.
Confessing Christ as her Savior, she joined Ebenezer Baptist Church at an early age. She was a very active member of Ebenezer, serving in many capacities as a former Usher Ministry President, Senior Choir Member, Junior Choir Member, as well as President of the Missionary Ministry. To know her was to love her. Ann was dedicated to her family and she loved her family. She worked hard and she loved to cook. She was a graduate of Chester High, Class of 1972, and employed by Lowrys One Stop (McConnells, SC). Ann was Worthy Matron of the Order of Eastern Star Bright Light Chapter No. 146.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Glenn Love and Frances Coleman Crank and her paternal grandparents, H. C. and Melinda Thompson.
Fond memories will be cherished by her loving companion, Rufus Kee; brother Scott (Barbara) Bowser; sister Renay Feaster; three aunts: Dorothy C. Worthy, Elizabeth C. Thompson and Margaret Feaster; two uncles: William S. (Curleen) Crank and Charlie Feaster; a devoted God-daughter, Antranasia “Shell” Johnson; and a host of other close relatives and friends.
