Mackenzie Hughes Obituary

In Loving Memory of Mackenzie Chanel Hughes & Mariah Chanel Hughes**

With profound sorrow and hearts laden with grief, we announce the untimely departure of our beloved angels, Mackenzie Chanel Hughes and Mariah Chanel Hughes, who were taken from us too soon in a tragic car accident that also claimed the life of their cherished mother.

The twins, born on August 24, 2020, were a source of boundless joy and light in the lives of all who knew them. Their laughter was infectious, their smiles could brighten the gloomiest days, and their love for life was evident in every little dance, every playful giggle, and every sweet embrace they shared with those around them.

Though their time with us was brief, the impact they made was immeasurable. Mackenzie and Mariah were a pair of radiant souls, inseparable in life, and now in rest. Their memory will forever be a testament to the love and happiness two little hearts could spread in our world.

As the family mourn their loss, they find solace in knowing that they are together in eternal peace and that their spirits will continue to guide us and inspire us every day.

The family is grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this unimaginable time. They ask for your continued prayers and for respect for our privacy as they grieve.

"Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day, unseen, unheard, but always near; still loved, still missed, and very dear."

Forever in our hearts, Mackenzie and Mariah will be deeply missed. May they rest in peace.

Mackenzie and Mariah were born in Camden SC, to Tanisha Hughes and Timothy Franklin. These beautiful babies were called by God to be his angels on March 22, 2024. Although we feel that they were taken from us far too soon, God needed them more. Ken and Riah made a huge impact on everyone that they came into contact with. From the smiles to the complete conversation they both had. There was never a dull moment when the twins were around. They were inseparable as they lived and moved as one unit. As they came to us as one, God made sure they came back to him as one. These sweet angels will truly be missed but will live forever in our hearts.

The girls are preceded in death by their great-grandmother Barbara Jean Foster Hughes, aunt Jasmine Given, and cousin Logan Givens.

They leave to cherish their memory their father Timothy Lamar Franklin, III of Rock Hill, South Carolina; Siblings, Dashawn Hughes and Harmony Hughes; Maternal grandparents, Ms. Kimberly Crim, and Mr. Anthony (Chastity) Greene; Paternal Grandmother Kelshia Stroud, Rock Hill, South Carolina; Paternal Grandfather Andre Feaster, Chester, South Carolina; Paternal Great  grandmother Doris Feaster, Chester, SC; Paternal Great grandfather Ben Stroud, Rock Hill, SC; Maternal Great grandmother Lula Stuckey Greene, of Camden, SC; Seven uncles LaDarius Given, Rock Hill, SC, Kaleb Feaster and Delan Watts, both of Chester, SC, Anthony Greene, Jr. of Stone Mountain, GA, Levi Walker and Trey Greene, both of Camden, SC, and Timothy (Felicia) King, or Lancaster, SC; Eight aunts Du’Sharme Feaster, ShaCola Jordan, Andrasia Feaster all of Rock Hill, SC, Gracie Williams, Princess Feaster, London Feaster, and Mariana Moore, all of Chester, SC, Taryn Greene of Camden, SC; five great uncles, Eric Stroud, Jason Heath both of Chester, SC, Shon (Denise) Crim and Derrick Greene, both of Camden, SC, and Landy Greene of Elgin, SC; five great aunts Bertha Stroud, Columbia, SC Terri Crim, Manarsha Greene (Damone) Washington and Gloria Johnson, all of Camden SC, and Valerie Frasier of Bronx, NY; their Nana Patricia Foster, New Jersey; two Special aunties JaiMonque Evans, Chester, SC, Melba Timmons, Heather Brown, both of New Jersey, Beritty Petty and ShiErin Stroud, both of Rock Hill, SC; Special Uncles Atavious Simpson, Zion Simpson, and Marcus Macon; Godfather Shawn Boyd, Jr., Charlotte, NC; and a host of other relatives.
