Larry Michael Nevels, Jr.

Larry Michael Nevels Jr. was born on September 6, 1969 in San Jose, Ca. to Chanel Mckellar and Larry Michael Nevels Sr. He departed this life on August 9, 2021 in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Larry grew up in San Jose, Ca. and moved to Tucson Az. in 1982 at the age of 13. He attended Catalina High School and graduated in 1986. 

Larry was a very special man. Not only was he a loving husband but he was a wonderful father, amazing brother and son. He took on many endeavors and faced many obstacles throughout his life. Although he had a gangster like persona he still remained faithful to the lord, humble and never gave up or became discouraged. 
After moving to Charlotte Nc. in 1999 he met and married Vickie McNair on March 30, 2005.

Larry was a great man who loved to laugh, hangout and spend time with his friends and family. He enjoyed cars and motorcycles, playing and watching sports especially his beloved San Francisco 49ers. Larry loved people and had many lasting friendships. We will forever miss his presence greatly. 

Larry is preceded in death by both grandparents; Savannah and Julius Harvey, four aunts; Lula Harvey, Patricia Williams, Carolyn Wyatt and Deborah Patterson and two uncles; Vincent Harvey and Edwin Harvey. 

Larry leaves his wife, Vickie McNair Nevels; parents Chanel McKellar and Larry Michael Nevels, Sr.;  his six children; Ashley Nevels, Donzell Nevels, Veon Nevels, Micah Nevels, Omarian Nevels, Caliee Nevels and Victoria McNair, two grandchildren; Quincy Nevels and Demari Jackson; brother Mario Harvey; sister Cheryl Halson; he also leaves a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and amazing friends.
