Mr. James Williams, Jr., affectionately known as "Santa Claus" and "Jivas" of 200 York Street Apt K1 passed at MUSC Chester Medical Center on Monday, July 18, 2021.
A native of Chester County, South Carolina he was born on November 8, 1941 to the late Amanda Colvin Williams and the late James Williams, Sr.
He accepted Christ at a young age and joined Bethel Missionary Baptist Church and later attended Enteral Rock Church. He was educated in the Chester County Public Schools. James worked for Coke-Cola for years. To know him was to love him. He was blessed with and engaging personality.
On Sunday, July 18, 2021 at MUSC Chester Medical Center James “Santa Claus, Jivas” Williams, Jr., received his wings as the Angles from Heaven where dispatched to bring him to his Heavenly rest and home. He was welcomed by his family members who preceded him in death which included his parents Amanda Colvin Williams and James Williams, Sr.; his three sisters, Mary Brown, Leslie Fields and Frances Jones; and his brother Joe Williams.
He leaves to cherish and celebrate his memory, two nieces, Catina “Tina” Jones, of the home and Tiffany Foster, of Michigan; one nephew, John Colvin, of Michigan; four great nieces, four great nephews, two great-great nieces; and a host of cousins other relatives and friends.
