Mr. Jamal Mildayne Wylie of 4432 Saddle Bend Trail Snellville Georgia 30339 and formerly of Chester County, South Carolina died Dec 25, 2014 in LaGrange Georgia as a result of and car accident.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, January 3, 2015 at Cedar Grove Baptist Church and Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
A native of Chester County South Carolina Jamal Mildayne Wylie was born on December 22, 1975 to James Beaty and the late Evangelist Mary Wylie Beaty. He answered God’s call home on December 25, 2014.
Jamal attended the public schools of Chester County where graduated in 1993 from Lewisville High School. While in high school, he demonstrated exceptional athletic abilities on the football field as well as the basketball court. After graduating, he served his country in the United States Army. Jamal was a hard working man always striving to excel at work – often working two jobs. He would quickly obtain supervisory or management position wherever he worked.
Jamal was the source of much laughter and fun among his family and friends. He was always telling jokes and reminding everyone of all the crazy things they did. He enjoyed life and kept a smile on his face as well as those around him.
He was united in marriage to Charlotte Wylie in 2011. In addition to his wife and father, he leaves to cherish fond memories one son: Justin Hill of Rock Hill, SC; five daughters: Tatiana Fossett of Fort Lawn, SC, Jasmine Wylie and Jala Wylie both of Rock Hill, SC and Ariel Baker and Nia Baker both of Snellville, GA; one grandchild; two brothers: Stewart Wylie of Snellville, GA and Reginald (Terry) Beaty of Kannapolis, NC; five sisters: Bettina Wylie, Jovada (John) Jordan, Joslyn (David) Gordon, and Octavia Beaty all of Rock Hill, SC, and Sheika Belk of Great Falls, SC; father & mother-in-law: Samuel and Audrey Mae Harvey of Napoleonville, LA; one sister-in-law: Wanda Harvey; two aunts: Willie Dorothy Wylie of Washington, DC and Joanettia King of Landover, Md; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and other friends and relatives.
Viewing be at the church on Friday January 2, 2015 from 5 pm until 7 pm there will be no viewing at the funeral home prior.
Family will receive friends at the of Mr and Mrs Ronald Wylie 4245 Horse Road in Rock Hill, SC.
Funeral services are entrusted to Christopher King's Funeral Home 703 Old York Road in Chester, SC.
