Reflection of Charles Edward Ward
On Saturday, June 13, 2020, Mr. Charles Ward entered into eternal peace and heavenly rest at Lancaster Health Rehabilitation. Charles was born in Baltimore Maryland on August 2, 1959, on a beautiful summer day. He was born to his loving parents Maggielean Jackson and Cleveland Pendergrass.
Charles attended the Baltimore County Public Schools, in Baltimore, Maryland. After graduating from High School Charles enlisted into the United States Army. To those who knew Charles remember his love for his family. He had a great love for his football team, so if you know anything about Charles he was a Die hard Baltimore Ravens Fan. He rooted for his team whether there was a win, lose, draw or tie!!
Charles was proceeded in death by his parents Maggielean Jackson and Cleveland Pendergrass and also his brother Vernon Pendergrass.
Charles leaves his legacy of life and love to: his brother; Louis (Lynn) Jackson, of Chester, South Carolina; his sisters, Azzilean Jackson of Chester, South Carolina, Barbara Jackson (Brant) Johnson of Blythewood, South Carolina, Wanda Jackson of Chester, South Carolina, Arsonia Jackson of Chester, South Carolina, Anita Pendergrass of Chester, South Carolina, and Denise (Daniel) Cornwell of Chester, South Carolina; his grandfather, Joe Culp, Sr., Chester, South Carolina; his step-mother, Janie V. Caldwell-Pendergrass of Chester, South Carolina; a devoted aunt, Dorothy (Edward) Dunovant of Chester, South Carolina; four uncles, Charles (Shelia) Culp, Theodore Culp, Joe Culp, and James Culp all of Chester, South Carolina; a loving and devoted cousin/caregiver, Dennis Jackson; a devoted friend, Brenda Johnson; god-sister Angela Brown; and a host of nieces, nephews, many other relatives, and friends.
Family will receive friends at the home of his brother and sister-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Louis Jackson 188 Ligon Street, Chester, South Carolina.
