Cavis Simpson Obituary

Mr. Cavis Antwonne Simpson, of 777 Charity Road in the Lowrys Community of Chester County, South Carolina was born on March 8, 1980 in Chester County, South Carolina, the son of Elvis Simpson and Gwendolyn Davis Simpson. Cavis life was unexpected taken away from us on August 24, 2020 in Lowrys, South Carolina.

Cavis spent his childhood being raised by his grandparents James and Rosa Lee Davis in their home on Charity Road in the Lowrys Community of Chester County, South Carolina. He attended the Chester County Public School graduating from Chester Senior High School as a member of the Class of 1998. Upon his death, he was working as a landscaper.

Now, know that Cavis valued his family and he was known for his beautiful smile, his love of animals and cooking.

Cavis was preceded in death by his parents; Elvis Simpson and Gwendolyn Davis Simpson; grandparents, James Davis, Rosa Lee Davis, Shirley Simpson Johnson and Alonzo Bill Smith.

Cavis leaves to cherish loving memories his brother, Corey Davis, of the home, aunts, Betty Davis Peay, of Charlotte, NC, Patricia Freeman, Fayetteville, NC, Gertrude Caldwell, Buffalo, NY, Reverend Elaine (Tim) Banks, Blackstock, SC and Marco (David) Lamar-Morgan, Columbia, SC; uncles Reverend Jesse Peay, and Sammie Curtis McClurkin, both of Chester, SC and Donald Simpson, Blair, South Carolina;  and a host of other special cousins and friends.
