Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Tommy Mack "Rock"  Foster, Sr. of 135 1/2 Oak Street, Chester, SC.

A soldier in the army of the Lord: he fought a good fight; he kept the Faith, henceforth a crown is waiting for him in Glory. Tommy Mack "Rock" Foster entered eternal rest on April 1, 2025, at MUSC Lancaster. He answered the Master's Call and departed this earthly life after 66 years on this earthly journey. Rock was born in Chester County, South Carolina on August 2, 1958, the son of the late Jessie Mack Feaster and Betty Jo Foster.

Confessing Christ at an early age, Tommy became a member of Second Wilson Baptist Church where he served faithfully as a trustee and on the usher board until his health declined. He was educated in the public schools of Chester County and is a proud member of Chester Senior High Class of 1976. He was formerly employed by Springs Industries(Katherine) Plant, GAF, Cudd Heating & Air Conditioning and The Budd Group.

Tommy was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather and friend. He enjoyed living and living life to the fullest. Tommy was the life of the party and affectionally known as the Mayor of Brooklyn. He was a hard worker and a great provider. He would help anyone he could.

Tommy was proceeded in death by his parents, Jessie Mack Feaster and Betty Jo Foster, his stepfather, Arthur Graham, grandparents, James Tom and Lillie Mae Foster; one sister, Fanessa Graham, one brother, Lamont Graham, granddaughter, Hailee Foster, mother in love, Madeline F. Miles and stepson, Adraylll Minter.

Tommy leaves cherish loving memories to his family, devoted wife of 24 years, Phyllis M. Foster of the home; loving children, Tommy "TJ" Foster and Andrea Foster both of Chester, SC; sisters, Cynthia Foster, Vivian Wilson, Stephanie Foster and Natanya Graham all of Chester, SC; brothers, Anthony (Patricia) Foster, Andre Feaster and Arthur Graham, Jr. all of Chester, SC; nine grands, Lesjune, Courtlyn, Alerian, Danielle, Anari, Kaniyen, Tremirous, Laci and Triston; one great grand, Taiden; sisters-in-love, Carolyn(Charles) Stevenson, Roslyn Kennedy, Jackie Miles(Dewey) Lowry, and Virginia Miles; brother-in-love, Bernard(Teresa) Miles; Special Nieces, Alexis McConnell, Keisha Foster, Victoria Ellam, Enricque "Von" Feaster and Felicia Stevenson; special nephews, Anthony "Mann" Foster, Jr.; Special friends, Mark McCoy, James "Zeke" Wilks, Benji Kelly, and CJ Mumford; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, the Brooklyn Community and other loving family members and caring friends.

The Foster family will receive friends at their home during this difficult time. Details regarding the funeral services are listed below.
