Mrs. Shaundra Yvette Hardy, better known as Yvette, was born on Monday, January 25, 1982 and Transitioned from this Earthly Life on Friday, June 26, 2026. She was the second oldest of six children. She was the daughter of Vera Patricia Stinson and John Willie Cheatom. She was preceded in death by her grandparents and her brother, Marcus.
Yvette accepted Christ at an early age and became a member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church. She was an avid reader and loved to sing and travel. She attended public school in Chester, SC. and was a member of the Chester Senior High School Class of 2000.
She was united in holy matrimony on June 18, 2016 to Keith Hardy.
She leaves to cherish fond memories, her devoted and loving husband, Keith Hardy, her loving son, Jay'Shon M. Smith, and her loving daughter, Jai'Onna M. Smith. Her parents: Vera P Stinson and John Willie Cheatom her loving brother Jeremy Cheatom of Rock Hill, SC, three dedicated sisters, Sheila Nicole Davis, Philadelphia, PA., Janay (Virgil) Jenkins, Rock Hill, SC and Jaleesa Cheatom, Rock Hill, SC, her loving uncle, Gerald Stinson (Terry) of Goose Creek, SC mother in law, Sonjia Hardy, two sisters in law Angie Hardy and Jasmine Hardy all of Union SC.
She is also survived by her nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly; Travis and Tania Cheatom, JaLayna Thorpe, Tyler and Alexandria Richardson, Ka’lyn and Nolan Jenkins, Jer'Marcus Feaster, Zaire and Avi Minter, Marcus Cheatom, Ziyah and Zayveon Scott, Devonta Mobley, and Akyrie Jeter. Aunts: Mechelle Killian, Janie Elam, Joanne (Freddie) Bridges. Her loving cousin, Antonio Stinson, as well as a host of cousins relatives and friends. Yvette will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the family home, 1037 Eastwood Drive, Rock Hill, SC.
