Chester - Mrs. Maybell Crank Fredrick of 1529 Ridgeview Road Chester, South Carolina died on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at the home of her granddaughter Gail Mayfield 317 Willowbrook Ave. Rock Hill, South Carolina. Funeral service will be Saturday, September 28, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Unity Baptist Church in Chester, South Carolina with Reverend Wylie Fredrick, officiating and Pastor Miller will preside. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. She was a native of Chester County, South Carolina and was the daughter of the late Dorsey Crank, Sr., and the late Elnora Meadows Crank. She was educated in the Chester County Public Schools and was a member of Unity Baptist Church. She was employed with Chester County Public Schools as a Cafeteria worker and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband Marion Fredrick and her son Robert L. Fredrick. She is survived by one daughter Phyllis (Milton) Corprew, of Chester, South Carolina; 43 grandchildren and a host brothers-in law, and sisters-in-law and a host of nieces, nephews. Family will receive friends at the home of her daughter and son-in-law Phyllis and Milton Corprew 1559 Ridgeview Road in Chester, South Carolina. Viewing will be on Friday, September 27, 2013 at the funeral home from 3-7Pm and she will lie in state at the church from 1:00 pm until the hour or the service on Saturday September 28, 2013.
