With heartfelt sorrow, we announce the passing of Ms. Lillie Mae Ware Gill, who peacefully departed this life on December 25, 2024. A beloved native of Chester, South Carolina, Ms. Gill resided at 29 Watkins Park Drive in Upper Marlboro, Maryland.

Ms. Gill was the cherished daughter of the late Mary Hope Ware and the late Heyward Ware. She leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and cherished memories that will forever be etched in the hearts of her family and friends.

A service in celebration of her life, followed by her burial, will be held in Chester, South Carolina. Details regarding the funeral arrangements will be announced at a later date.

In this time of sorrow, we find comfort in the words of Psalm 23:4 - "Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me."
