Mr. James Demond Gladney, 47, of 117 Deaver Street, Chester, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest on Monday, September 15, 2025, at MUSC Chester Medical Center.

Born April 15, 1978, in Chester, he was the beloved son of Dora Sinclair Gladney and the late James Clyde Gladney. James was a son, father, brother, nephew, uncle, cousin, and friend. To know him was to love him — his kind heart, easy smile, and deep devotion to family and friends left a lasting impression on all who crossed his path.

The family will receive friends at the home of his sister Felithia Gladney163 East Street, Chester, South Carolina.
