Mr. Christopher Daniel Mayfield, Sr., the son of George G. Mayfield and the late Matricia Culp Mayfield. Chris was born in Chester County, South Carolina on July 5, 1977. He attended the Chester County South Carolina Public Schools. At an early age he professed his faith in Jesus Christ and joined Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. Chris was known for his beautiful smile. He loved family and was a devoted father to his two sons. He was a big Pittsburgh Steelers Football Fan. He was preceded in death by his mother Matricia Culp Mayfield and his sister Rita M. Cohens. Chris leaves to cherish his memory his two sons; Christopher D. Mayfield, Jr. and Joey Ja'Quarius Mayfield, both of Chester, SC; father  George G. Mayfield, Chester, SC; sisters, Roslyn (Tony) Gist, Augusta, Ga., Belinda (Germeiko) Graham, Columbia, SC, Taneisha (Gwen) Mayfield, Charlotte, NC and Teresa Mayfield, Chester, SC; brothers, Antonio Mayfield, Trenton (JoAnn) Mayfield, Trevose (Letha) Mayfield, Chester, South Carolina; grandfather Joe Culp, Sr.; devoted aunts and uncles, Dorothy (Edward) Dunovant, Sylvia (Eumon) Chisolm, Charles (Sheila) Culp, Theodore Culp, James Culp, Albert Degraffenreid and Ray Charles Degraffenreid; devoted cousin Thomas Jackson and devoted Brian Simpson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
