Carrie Esther Jackson Carelock was born in Chester County, SC on April 10, 1939. She was the daughter of the late Ulysess Jackson and the late Carrie Gaston Jackson.

Carrie was educated in the Chester County South Carolina Public Schools. She graduated from Drake College in accounting. She worked as an accountant up until her retirement at the University College of New Jersey. Carrie was a faithful member of Bright Light Baptish Church where she worship and praise the Lord. She was a hard working and caring woman at heart family was big for her.

She was an amazing woman of God. She loved and lived her life respectfully.  She loved her music and her Pet Pal Cuddles. Carrie loved to give her family and friend huge and delicious meals.

She was precede in death by her parents and her daughter Michelle Johnson, brother Alexander Jackson

She leaves to cherish her memories three sons; Edward Buchanan, Kaziel (Regina) Mosley, Jr., Olanda Carelock; two daughters; Ernestine Buchanan and Debra (Curtis) Burris; sisters; Anna (Joe) Head, Mary (Melvin) Johnson, Della Jackson, Johnnie Mae McCleney;  brothers; Roosevlt Jackson, William Henry Jackson, Rudean Booker, Jesse Booker, Bobby Booker, Willie J. Gaston and Melvin Tolliver; 11 grands 22 great-grands ,Caregivers  Tatisha Moss, and Lucinda Worthy; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The Family of Ms. Carrie Esther Jackson Carelock will receive friends at the home of Ms. Lucinda Clark Worthy 2829 Pilgrim Road Chester, South Carolina.
