Arsonia Stroud, a beloved educator, coach, counselor, sister, aunt, cousin and friend, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2024, surrounded by the love of her family at her home in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Funeral arrangements are currently are complete and all services are listed below.  Please keep the Stroud family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

A native of Chester County, South Carolina, Arsonia was the cherished daughter of Late Mr. Leroy Stroud Sr. and  Late Mrs. Daisy Thompson Stroud. Throughout her life, she dedicated herself to the service of others, touching countless lives as a school guidance counselor and coach. Her passion for education and her unwavering commitment to her students and athletes made a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

To know Arsonia was to love her. She had a unique ability to connect with people, offering guidance, support, and friendship to everyone she met. Family was of paramount importance to her, and she treasured every moment spent with her loved ones. Her warmth, kindness, and generosity will be remembered by all who knew her.

Arsonia Stroud will be deeply missed by her family, friends, colleagues, and the many students whose lives she touched. Her legacy of love, dedication, and service will continue to inspire and uplift those who were fortunate enough to have known her.

The Stroud Family will receive family and friends at the home of her bother and sister-in-law Leroy "Chopper" (Wanda) Stround, Jr., 1531 Henry Road Chester, SC 29706. They ask that you visit between the hours of 3pm-7pm Friday, June 28 and Saturday June29.
