Mrs. Osie B. Gaston Stroud of 2263 Mountain Gap Road in Richburg, South Carolina died on September 1, 2013 at her home.

The funeral services will be 2:00 pm Friday, September 6, 2013 at Love and Charity Baptist Church 2737 Mountain Gap Road in Richburg, South Carolina. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. She will lie in state at the church from 1:00 pm until the hour of the service.

A native of  Chester County, South Carolina she was the daughter of the late Frank Gaston Sr., and the late Henretta Gaither Gaston.

She was proceeded in death by her late husband Robert Stroud, 4 children Sharon, Regina, Robert Jr., and Agurs Stroud. She attended the Chester County Public Schools. She worked for Springs industries until closing and did domestic work until her passing.

She leaves to cherish fond memories: four daughters Lydia Stroud of Richburg SC, Renee Stroud of Chester SC, Angela Stroud of Richburg SC, and Shameeka (Sammy) Cornelius of Winnsboro SC. 2 sons Jeffery (Alberta) Stroud of Richburg SC, and John Stroud of the home.15 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren. a brother Isaiah (Katherna) Gaston of Chester SC, 3 sisters-in-law Willie Mae Stroud of Harrisburg PA, Eloise Gaston of Great Falls SC, Patricia Stroud of Richburg SC, a brother-in-law Willie Gaston of Harrisburg PA. 1 daughter-in-law Joanne Stroud of Richburg SC, a Aunt Elizabeth "Doll" Crane of Richburg SC, and host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at the home of her daughter Lydia Stroud 777 B Murdock Road in Richburg, South Carolina.

Viewing will be at the funeral home Thursday, September 5, 2013 from 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm.
